Dr. Kunal Patel is a board-certified interventional radiologist with a strong foundation in minimally invasive therapies focused on improving quality of life and reducing surgical burden. He is joining IR Centers through our partnership with Commonwealth Radiology and brings with him clinical excellence in high-volume embolization procedures and patient-centered care. Dr. Patel earned his B.S. in Biology at the University of Georgia and completed his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia. Following a surgical internship at Orlando Health, he completed a Vascular and Interventional Radiology fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University, where he developed particular interest in outpatient embolization and endovascular oncology.

Dr. Jawad Hussain is a Harvard-trained, board-certified interventional radiologist with a passion for patient-centered, image-guided therapies. He joins IR Centers via Commonwealth Radiology and will be practicing in our Mid-Atlantic region, contributing to the continued growth of outpatient embolization services. Dr. Hussain received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Boston University and earned both his M.D. and an M.S. in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Harvard Medical School affiliate, and went on to complete a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Michigan.
