Raj Patel M.D., is an Interventional Radiology physician at IR Centers in Wilmington, North Carolina. He is originally from Orlando, Florida. Dr. Patel received his undergraduate training at the University of Florida in Gainesville, where he earned dual degrees in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. He then attended the University of South Florida in Tampa for medical school, where he received his MD degree and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society.

Dr. Dixon was awesome from start to finish. He explained the procedure in a way that made sense and didn’t rush me at all. The whole team was friendly and made me feel really cared for. Definitely felt like I was in good hands.

Shoutout to the staff for putting up with my bad jokes while explaining the procedure! They were patient, kind, and actually made the whole thing pretty painless.
