Dr. Herren graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering with a focus in biomedical microsystems. She completed her medical school at Ohio University. From there she completed a rigorous surgical internship at Medical College of Wisconsin. She then completed her Integrated Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology Residency at University of Illinois in Chicago with distinctions in both Research and Scholarship, as well as Clinical Service and Education. During residency Dr. Herren served as the Interventional Radiology Chief resident and was actively involved in the formation of a dedicated resident clinic for the IR residency. She was also selected as an Emerging leader in patient safety as a scholar selected by the COPIC Medical Foundation and MedStar Health Institute for Quality and Safety, as she was an active participant in both her departmental and the hospitals, Quality and Safety Strategy and Leadership Steering committees. In addition to her dedication to patient safety, she is a dedicated teacher with special focus on attracting women and underrepresented minorities to the field of interventional radiology, having mentored over 25 medical students who will become future interventional radiologist. After residency Dr. Herren was an assistant professor at the University of Maryland, participating actively in clinical trials including interventional oncology, PE interventions, and a novel embolic.
Dr. M. Abid Razvi attended The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, D.C. After graduating in 2013, he completed his medical internship at Howard University Hospital. Dr. Razvi then completed residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Penn State University Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA and stayed on for a fellowship in Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology. After graduating in 2019, he took a staff position at Penn State as an Interventional Radiologist.
