

Sunil Narayan, MD
Sunil Narayan, MD is a Board-Certified Vascular & Interventional Radiologist. He completed both his interventional radiology and diagnostic radiology residencies at Albany Medical center in Albany, NY where he served as Chief Resident. Sunil graduated from St. George’s University School of Medicine in 2015 and holds a Bacherlor’s in Biomedical Engineering from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. Sunil maintains a base in high level clinical interventional radiology with particular interest in men’s and women’s health, interventional oncology, and embolotherapy. Sunil is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology and regular participant in their annual scientific meeting.

He has authored textbook chapters on the treatment of gastrointestinal bleeding and participated in clinical trials for large bore aspiration thrombectomy and liquid embolics for the treatment of peripheral arterial hemorrhage.
Dr. Narayan has broad clinical expertise, but currently focuses on embolization procedures, including, treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia, hemorrhoids, osteoarthritis of the knee and uterine fibroids. He also has expertise in the treatment of pulmonary embolism, venous disease and musculoskeletal interventions such as vertebral augmentation. Outside of work Sunil enjoys time in nature with his dog, music, and circling the wagons with the Buffalo Bills.
