Pegah Naeimi, MD

Dr. Pegah Naeimi is a board-certified interventional radiologist who completed her Interventional Radiology Residency at Albany Medical Center. She previously completed a surgical internship at Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Naeimi earned her medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University’s Chicago Medical School and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Physics, magna cum laude, from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Her academic interests include image-guided therapies for vascular and nonvascular conditions, with recent research focused on embolization techniques and clinical outcomes. She has presented at national conferences including GEST and SIR, and has been published in the RSNA Case Collection.

Dr. Naeimi has received multiple academic honors, including the CMS Endowment Scholarship and SPIE Scholarship, and has participated in competitive research programs such as the Crest II Junior Scientist Collaboration and ICAM Exchange. With a strong foundation in both physics and medicine, she brings a unique analytical lens to interventional radiology.
She joins IR Centers to continue her passion to bring the benefits of minimally invasive therapies to the patients of Charlotte.
