

Dr. Peter Smith
Dr. Peter Smith is a board-certified and fellowship-trained interventional radiologist. He brings decades of leadership and hands-on experience in vascular and interventional radiology across hospital, outpatient, and specialty practice settings.
Dr. Smith earned his Bachelor of Science degree summa cum laude from the University of Notre Dame before receiving his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA).
He completed residency training in Diagnostic Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital, where he also served as Chief Resident, followed by two advanced fellowships in GI/GU Interventional Radiology and Vascular / Angiography at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Throughout his career, Dr. Smith has held numerous leadership roles including Director of Peripheral Endovascular Therapy at Mid Atlantic Vascular Institute and Medical Director of the Vascular Institute at Bayonne Medical Center. He has also provided vascular and interventional radiology services across multiple major health systems and outpatient platforms.
His clinical expertise includes peripheral arterial disease interventions, venous disease management, embolization therapies, image-guided vascular procedures, dialysis access management, and a broad range of minimally invasive treatments.
