Dr. Daniel Alvarez Valero
Daniel Alvarez Valero, M.D. is a board-certified Interventional Radiologist, Interventional Oncologist, and Diagnostic Radiologist with advanced training from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and Harvard-affiliated institutions.
He specializes in minimally invasive, image-guided treatments including prostate artery embolization (PAE), uterine artery embolization (UAE), genicular artery embolization (GAE), tumor ablation, Y-90 radioembolization, venous interventions, and complex endovascular procedures.
Dr. Alvarez completed his Interventional Radiology residency at UMass Memorial Medical Center and has served in leadership roles focused on resident education and quality improvement. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications, presented nationally on interventional radiology and oncology topics, and received several awards recognizing his clinical excellence, research contributions, and commitment to medical education.
He is dedicated to delivering innovative, patient-centered care through advanced minimally invasive therapies that improve outcomes and reduce recovery times. Dr. Alvarez is excited to bring his passion for minimally invasive procedures to the Syracuse community through his work with Allied Medical Professionals and IR Centers.
