

Dr. Aaron Wittenberg
Dr. Aaron Wittenberg is a board-certified interventional radiologist at IR Centers in Phoenix, Arizona. He is certified by the American Board of Radiology in both Diagnostic Radiology and Interventional Radiology and has practiced in the Phoenix market for many years, most recently delivering image-guided cancer therapy at City of Hope Cancer Center Phoenix.
Dr. Wittenberg earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo and completed his internship at Mercy Health Partners in Toledo.

He went on to complete his radiology residency and fellowship training in vascular and interventional radiology at MetroHealth Medical Center, Case Western Reserve University, in Cleveland. He holds an academic appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology.
His clinical expertise spans the full range of minimally invasive image-guided therapy, with particular depth in interventional oncology. He performs CT-guided microwave ablation and NanoKnife irreversible electroporation for tumor destruction, chemoembolization and radioembolization for cancers of the liver, colon, rectum, and bile ducts, and advanced biopsy techniques for lesions in difficult-to-reach anatomy. His broader practice includes arterial and venous intervention, embolization, venous access, and image-guided drainage procedures.
Dr. Wittenberg has been recognized by Phoenix Magazine as a "Top Doc" in interventional radiology in 2019, 2022, and 2023. He is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology and the American College of Radiology.
Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Wittenberg has taken an active role in hospital leadership and community health advocacy in the Phoenix area. He has been elected to the Endovascular Procedures Committee at Deer Valley Hospital and to the Medical Executive Committees at HonorHealth Deer Valley and John C. Lincoln, where he has helped shape procedural standards and physician governance.
Dr. Wittenberg brings a strong commitment to innovation, collaboration, and patient-centered care, aligning closely with IR Centers' mission of expanding access to advanced outpatient interventional radiology services across the United States.
