Dr. Matthew Bernhard is a board-certified Interventional Radiologist with IR Centers in Nashville, TN. He earned his bachelor of science in molecular and cellular biology from Haverford College, followed by his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He completed his diagnostic radiology residency and fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at the University of Virginia Medical Center. He holds a certificate of added qualification (CAQ) in vascular and interventional radiology from the American Board of Radiology. Prior to joining IR Centers, Dr. Bernhard practiced at Ascension St. Thomas in Nashville for 11 years, including serving as the Chief of Interventional Radiology at Ascension St. Thomas-Midtown.
