Dr. Alex Miller is a fellowship-trained interventional radiologist specializing in advanced, minimally invasive procedures to treat a broad range of conditions. He received his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts medical school, and completed diagnostic radiology residency and interventional radiology fellowship at Duke University Hospital, where he served as a chief resident and was recognized with the fellow and resident teaching awards, reflecting his strong commitment to education and clinical excellence. After graduation, Dr. Miller returned to the northeast and worked in the Mass General Brigham health system. Dr. Miller is dedicated to providing patient-centered care that leverages cutting-edge image-guided techniques to reduce recovery times and improve outcomes. Born and raised in Massachusetts, he is excited to join IR Centers at Greater Boston Urology and bring these services to the Bay State at our Plymouth and Framingham locations
Dr. Hesham Malik is a Board-Certified Vascular and Interventional Radiologist at IR centers at Greater Boston Urology in Plymouth, Massachusetts. He graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society. He completed his residency and fellowship training in Diagnostic Radiology and Angiography & Interventional Radiology at Brigham & Women’s Hospital. He joined the University of Massachusetts Medical Center where in a career spanning 10 years, he spearheaded the expansion of multiple service lines, and developed expertise in the treatment of liver cancer, portal hypertension, hepatobiliary disease, vascular malformations, arterial and venous disease, and urologic conditions. He served as the Chief of Interventional Oncology and Quality Assurance/Improvement Officer. He joins IR Centers to continue his passion to bring the benefits of minimally invasive therapies to the patients of the Commonwealth.
