Dr. Robert Esposito is a highly skilled, board-certified interventional radiologist joining IR Centers in Atlanta. He specializes in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures for a wide range of conditions, with a particular interest in embolization therapies and advanced vascular interventions. Dr. Esposito completed his Integrated Interventional and Diagnostic Radiology Residency at the University of Iowa Health Care, where he served as Chief Resident. He earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Throughout his career, Dr. Esposito has been actively involved in research, contributing to advancements in interventional oncology, embolization techniques, and radiology resident education. His work on immunoembolization for metastatic ocular melanoma and innovative approaches to cholecystostomy tube management has been presented at national and international conferences, including SIR, CIRSE, and SIO.
