Dr. Gregg Khodorov
Dr. Gregg Khodorov is an interventional radiologist with a background in clinical medicine, healthcare management, research, global health, and medical innovation. He specializes in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures and is dedicated to providing thoughtful, patient-centered care using the latest advances in vascular and interventional radiology.
Dr. Khodorov earned his Bachelor of Science in Biophysics with Honors from The George Washington University, graduating magna cum laude. He then received his Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management from Rutgers Business School, where he graduated summa cum laude and served as valedictorian.
He earned his medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School with Distinction in Medical Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
He completed his general surgery internship and integrated Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology residency training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, where he also served as Chief Resident. During his training, Dr. Khodorov developed broad expertise in minimally invasive therapies, including vascular and venous interventions, embolization procedures, men’s health treatments, and outpatient interventional radiology.
Dr. Khodorov has been actively involved in research, education, and leadership throughout his career. He has authored and contributed to numerous publications and presentations on venous disease, thrombectomy, embolization, artificial intelligence in radiology, and innovation in interventional radiology. His recent work includes a publication in the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology, as well as presentations at national and international meetings.
In addition to his clinical and academic work, Dr. Khodorov has a strong interest in global health and radiology education. He participated in a RAD-AID global health interventional radiology experience in Kenya and has presented at PACORI, contributing to educational efforts focused on advancing radiology and interventional radiology care across Africa.
Dr. Khodorov has also held leadership roles with the Society of Interventional Radiology Resident, Fellow, and Student Section, including service on the governing council and as Annual Meeting Committee Chair. He is a founder and organizer of multiple educational and innovation-focused initiatives, including the New Jersey Interventional Radiology Symposium and the Rutgers RWJMS COVID-19 Innovation Task Force.
His clinical interests include minimally invasive treatments for vascular and venous disease, men’s health, embolization procedures, and the use of innovation and design thinking to improve the patient experience.
